Why mulatto is a poor choice of word and/or surprising? Mulattoes are the result of a white and black progeny, exactly what constitutes 85% of the dominican population. No we´re not black, neither we speak creole, nor practice vodoo, WE dominicans are a spanish speaking, christian worshipping mulatto nation! Trying to unite Haiti and the DR is like forcefully trying to unite greek and turkish cyprus.... 2 different nations, different customs, language, faiths and outlook in life, so don´t be so surprised, or incredulous....
Mulatto is probably a poor choice of words. But, whatever...
Dominicans are mulatto? I cant believe I just read that
